You\u2019ll love them so much they may start making a regular appearance on your weekend breakfast menu!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00bd c. juice and \u00bd tsp. zest, grated, from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittmandavis.com\/navel-oranges\/p\/naveloranges\/\">Pittman &amp; Davis Navel Orange<\/a><\/p>\n<p>1\u00bd c. all-purpose flour<\/p>\n<p>3 Tbsp. sugar<\/p>\n<p>1\u00bd tsp. baking powder<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp. baking soda<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc tsp. salt<\/p>\n<p>1 large egg, room temperature<\/p>\n<p>1 c. part-skim ricotta cheese<\/p>\n<p>\u00be c. milk<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc c. butter, melted<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp. vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, whisk together egg, cheese, milk, zest, juice, melted butter and vanilla until blended. Add to dry ingredients; stir until just moistened.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly grease the griddle; heat over medium heat. Pour batter by \u00bc cupsful onto griddle. Cook until bubbles on top begin to pop and bottoms are golden brown. Turn once; cook until the other side is golden brown.
