You\u2019re missing out \u2013 known for their bell shapes and honey-sweet flavor, the mandarin hybrid is a refreshing treat eaten fresh out of hand, segmented into salads, or used in your favorite recipes (like cocktails)!<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of cocktails, our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittmandavis.com\/golden-honeybells\/p\/goldenhoneybells\/\">Golden Honeybells<\/a> are perfect in a margarita \u2013 combined with smooth silver tequila and tart lime juice, the fresh, sweet juice makes a nice complement. Round out your next taco or chili night with the tropical-tasting recipe featuring the juice from a Golden Honeybell below and prepare to add wow factor to a winter night!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>1 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pittmandavis.com\/honeybells\/c\/ft_1001_7\/\">Pittman &amp; Davis Honeybell<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2 limes<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp. silver tequila<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp. orange liqueur<\/li>\n<li>2 Tbsp. lime juice<\/li>\n<li>3 Tbsp. simple syrup<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd c. water<\/li>\n<li>Coarse sea salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><em>Make the simple syrup<\/em>: bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan until sugar dissolves. Turn off heat and allow to cool completely. (Excess can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.)<\/li>\n<li><em>Prepare the fruit<\/em>: cut the Honeybell in half. Juice one half of the Honeybell and cut the remaining half into wedges. Juice one of the limes and cut the remaining lime into wedges.<\/li>\n<li><em>Prepare the glass<\/em>: rub the edge of a margarita glass with one lime wedge, then dip in salt.
