Carefully packed in each box are:

• 3 King Comice Pears. The creamy Comice has a buttery texture, juicy flesh and very sweet flavor. It's best eaten fresh and makes an excellent addition to cheese boards featuring aged (like Gouda or Vermont Cheddar) or soft (like Brie or Camembert) cheeses.
• 3 Golden Bosc Pears. Its elegant shape and deep golden, almost bronze skin make the beautiful Bosc a popular choice for fall and holiday centerpieces and arrangements, but its crisp texture and spicy-sweet flavor complements bold and semi-soft cheeses perfectly. The Bosc also holds its shape well in cooking, making it a great choice for pies, tarts and other baked desserts.
• 3 D'Anjou Pears. The Green D'Anjou Pear is famous for its versatility. It is very juicy and has a refreshingly sweet flavor with notes of citrus. It holds up well when baked, poached, roasted or grilled, and pairs especially well with soft and semi-soft cheeses (such as Chèvre and Manchego).
• 3 Holiday Red Pears. A variety of D'Anjou Pear, the Holiday Red can be used interchangeably with its green-skinned cousin, but its crimson coloring makes it a visual knockout in salads and on cheese boards! Try alternating slices of Holiday Red with Green D'Anjou for festive display on a holiday sideboard.
