Maple Walnut Baked Pears

Pittman & Davis

Are you a fan of warm, fall fruit dishes? These delectable baked pears make a perfect dessert! As good as baked apples any day, walnuts give this began dish crunch while fragrant cinnamon spices it up. Feel free to substitute honey for the maple syrup, and enjoy them plain or topped with yogurt or ice cream.

Ingredients:

2 Pittman & Davis Lil’ Princess Pears (any variety), halved

2 tsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. maple syrup

3 Tbsp. walnuts

Directions:

  • Pre-heat oven to 350° Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using a tablespoon, scoop seeds out of each pear half. Fill the space left behind with walnuts and drizzle a teaspoon of maple syrup over each half. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • Transfer pears to baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
