The term “Detox” can have a bad reputation where some of us immediately think of making and drinking some weird concoction, feeling hungry all the time, constantly going to the bathroom, or simply depriving ourselves of eating tasty food and drinks.
However, when we use a properly designed “Detox” that takes out the bad things and puts in good stuff by cleansing and nourishing the body from inside out, then we not only eliminate the bad toxins but we also get rid of unwanted pounds while eating delicious treats. On top of that, we feel energized, free from joint pain, look better, are able to control our sugar cravings, and at the same time stall autoimmune diseases and digestive problems.
Pineapple and Grapefruit can help in detoxifying our body.
Grapefruit consists of 92 percent water, which plays a big role in flushing all the toxins in the body. It also contains vitamins and minerals that can help the body function better while repairing the damage at the cellular level accumulated through years of having an unhealthy diet. Grapefruits also contain high amounts of fiber that can help you feel fuller longer, eat less, and that act like a broom to sweep away any solid waste from the colon.
Pineapple is a fiber-rich fruit that contains vitamins A and C, and bromelain which is a protein-digesting enzyme that can help with digestion. It also helps in reducing inflammation and can speed up recovery from injuries. Pineapples also contain manganese that can aid in improving your mood if you are feeling under the weather.
