Not only is this an elegant and unique main seafood dish, but the list of ingredients is short, easily obtained, and fresh. This 4-serving recipe is also simple to prepare and it cooks up in minutes. Try this excellent Honeybell Baked Shrimp for any occasion where Shrimp Scampi would be the norm, and get ready to see smiles, hear compliments, and serve seconds.

1 pound Jumbo Shrimp, peeled and deveined

1/3 Cup Parsley, finely chopped

Juice and zest of one Honeybell

1 Garlic Clove, minced

4 Tbs Unsalted Butter, melted

2 Tbs Olive Oil

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place cleaned and peeled shrimp in a shallow baking dish, such as an oven safe 9”x13” casserole pan. In a mixing bowl combine Honeybell juice, parsley, garlic, melted butter, olive oil, salt, and pepper and whisk well. Pour mixture over shrimp, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until shrimp are pink and cooked throughout. Serve with your favorite salad and warm bread for a complete and delicious meal.

Honeybell Baked Shrimp can also be divided and cooked in individual-serving baking dishes.

If Honeybell’s are unavailable, use any large, sweet orange.

Substitute 1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper for the 1/4 teaspoon of Black Pepper for extra heat.
